Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Mercova AI, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company d/b/a Home Service One (“Home Service One,” “HSO,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our website and the Home Service One platform (together, the “Services”). It applies to our business customers, their authorized users, visitors to our website, and — as described in “Data we process on behalf of customers” below — the end customers of the businesses that use the platform.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use information

We use information to: provide, maintain, and secure the Services; process payments and subscriptions; provide customer support; communicate with you about your account and the Services; improve and develop features; detect and prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Data we process on behalf of customers

When a business uses the platform to run its operations, that business is the controller of the data it loads or generates (including data about its own customers), and Home Service One acts as a processor / service provider, handling that data only to provide the Services and per our agreement with the business. If you are an end customer of a business that uses Home Service One and have a request about your data, please contact that business directly; we will support them in responding.

4. How we share information

5. Payment processing

Payments are processed by third-party processors. When you or your customers pay through the platform, the processor collects and handles the card or bank-account details under its own terms and security standards (PCI-DSS). We receive confirmation and limited details (such as card brand and last four digits) but do not store full card or bank-account numbers.

6. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. Where required, we honor applicable opt-out signals.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customer content is deleted or returned in accordance with our agreement with the business after termination.

8. Security

We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the California CCPA/CPRA, other U.S. state laws, or the EU/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to appeal a decision. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise a right, contact us at privacy@homeserviceone.io; we will verify and respond as required by law. If your request concerns data a business manages in the platform, we will refer you to that business as the controller.

10. International users

We operate in the United States, and information may be processed there. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

11. Children

The Services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice.
